Mohammed's Obsession with Farting
In another post, we have seen how the "prophet" Mohammed was obsessed with the most trite of things. He liked to give lessons on how to urinate (sitting or standing), for example. This should not surprise anyone. Islam is a total mind control cult, and such cults always try to control every little detail of a person's life, thereby turning the person into an automaton who will do whatever the cult leader (Mohammed) wants without questioning.
Anyway, let us observe this phenomenon again. In this case, Mohammed spends Hadith after Hadith on the profound issue of farting. I kid you not. I will reproduce the Hadith, from no less a Hadith collection than Sahih Bukhari - the most reliable Hadith collection.

So it seems that farting renders a muslim's prayer null and void. Let us continue.
So one should constantly apply the smell test during prayer to ensure that other muslims are not farting!
Reading the Hadith convinced me of one thing - Islam is simply not a religion. It has no spiritual core. It is just the nonsensical, hateful, and sexist ramblings of a semi-illiterate 7th century bedouin who used the oldest trick in the book to get the power and women that he would never have had otherwise.

Volume 1, Book 4, Number 137:
Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Apostle said, "The prayer of a person who does ,Hadath (passes, urine, stool or wind) is not accepted till he performs (repeats) the ablution." A person from Hadaramout asked Abu Huraira, "What is 'Hadath'?" Abu Huraira replied, " 'Hadath' means the passing of wind from the anus."

Narrated 'Abbas bin Tamim:
My uncle asked Allah's Apostle about a person who imagined to have passed wind during the prayer. Allah' Apostle replied: "He should not leave his prayers unless he hears sound or smells something."

Allah's Apostle said, "The angels keep on asking Allah's forgiveness for anyone of you, as long as he is at his Mu,salla (praying place) and he does not pass wind (Hadath). They say, 'O Allah! Forgive him, O Allah! be Merciful to him."
Allah forgives you only if you don't fart! Otherwise boy, are you in some trouble with Allah :-)
Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet said, "Allah does not accept prayer of anyone of you if he does Hadath (passes wind) till he performs the ablution (anew)."
Allah seems to care more about whether you farted or not during prayer than anything more substantial (for example, whether your mind was truly pure or not during prayer).
